American actor Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. Her first role was an actress in the teen-oriented films Big Fat Liar (2006) and She's the Man (2006). In the FX series Dirt, she played Willa McPherson as a reporter. She was also in the role of an assistant on the short-lived series The Ex List. She played the role of a young Moira O'Hara during the initial season of FX's American Horror Story, and played Kaylee in the third season. She played Jessie Anderson's character in the AMC series The Walking Dead. Sophie played her character in NBC's This Is Us. She also voiced several characters from the animated series Family Guy. Since 2019, she has starred as Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge was raised in Darien, Connecticut until she was 10, when her mother and her moved to California [1] where they lived for a year before settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge was fascinated by photography, acting and singing at the age of 13. When she was 15, she and her mother moved back to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career.
